Course Objectives: The student through independent practical work master the methods of palaeontological research - the collection of fossil fauna of a certain group of animals and the laboratory methods of preparation of this kind of fossil material for palaeontological analysis. |

Learning Outcomes: Student acquires knowledge and skills in collecting, determining and describing a particular group of fossil organisms; their stratigraphic and palaeoecological characteristics and significance. |

Conduct of the Course: Introduction to theoretical foundations - morphological traits and terminology; differences between genera and species; palaeoecological and stratigraphic properties.
