Course Objectives: Importance of wall-rock alterations in prospecting and exploration of mineral resources. Introducing with the main alteration styles and indicative minerals and/or mineral assemblages-argyllitization,potassic alteration, phyllic, advance argyllic, silification, skarn, propilitization... Recognition the link between alteration style and mineralization with geochemical signatures. Gangue minerals and ore minerals as a function of physical-chemical conditions and fluid composition. |

Learning Outcomes: Qualifying for individual work in the field and for individual desk-job. Microscopic determination of mineral assemblage and recognition of original rocks. Preparation for higher levels of studying. |
