Theory teaching
Theoretical basis of prospecting, metallogenic control (geosyncline concept, tectono-magmatic activisation concept, new global tectonics concept, geodynamic models), controlling factors of ore deposition (magmatic, structural, facial), prospecting indicators (ore outcrops, wall rock alterations, indicating minerals and elements, geophysical and geomorphological anomalies, traces of ancient mining). Prospecting methods(geological – method of rock chips and stream sediments ; geochemical – rock chip samples method, soil samplle method, hydogeochemical, biogeochemical, atmogeochemical, special methods). Geochemical data analysis.

Practical teaching
Analysis of controlling factors and prospecting indicators. Analysis, presentation and interpretation of prospecting data, determining the parameters of geochemical fields, visual presentation of dispersion halos, distinguishing geochemical anomalies.
