Field Course/Work - Geology

Course Objectives:
Objective: Introduction to practical fieldwork in geologically complex terrain and application of various methodological procedures in the field.

Learning Outcomes:
Knowledge of work on the field and mastering methodological procedures related to the courses that are being attended at graduate studies.

Content:

Practical teaching
A tour of representative outcrops accompanied by a professor. Practical training of students in an outcrop. Crossing of the field, observation and recording of observations. Construction of a local stratigraphic column, for the narrower field of research. Collection of structural data. Collection of palenotological data, paleofauna, paleoflora and the like.
