Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to learn of specific fields of mathematics necessary for solving geophysical problems (related to the topics of doctoral dissertations of candidates). |
Learning Outcomes: The effect is the getting of theoretical knowledge in certain areas of modern mathematics, which are the basis for the development and application of methods of geophysical research (related to the topics of doctoral dissertations of candidates). |
Content:
Theory teaching Selected Chapters in Contemporary Mathematics, Applied in Geophysical Surveys (Related to Areas Candidates Are Engaged in Dissertations). Analysis. Field theory. Numerical methods. Statistics. Probability. Fractal theory. Other areas of mathematics required for the development of geophysical research. Practical teaching Individual work of the candidate on the given topics. |
