Course Objectives: The goal of teaching is to accept the numerical methods, thus acquiring the theoretical foundations necessary for understanding professional subjects and applying acquired knowledge in geophysical research. |
Learning Outcomes: The rezult of the course is acquiring knowledge from numerical methods, as the necessary basis for work in the profession and scientific research work. |
Content:
Theory teaching On algorithms. Calculating with approximate numbers. Approximately solving algebraic and transecedental equations. Solving a system of equations. Interpolation. Mean square approximation. Numerical differentiation and integration. Numerical solving of differential equations. Solving Partial Differential Equations by Finite Difference Method. Practical teaching Any subject of the theoretical part of the course will be followed by solving of the selected problems. |
