Course Objectives: Getting acquainted with the theory and practice of basic methods in Numerical Analysis necessary for engineers |
Learning Outcomes: Training students to use the Numerical Analysis method in engineering practice. |
Content:
Theory teaching Basic numerical methods, rounding up numbers and estimating errors. Interpolation, numerical integration (Simpson method, trapezoidal and tangent method) and numerical differentiation. Approximation of ordinary equations: iterative methods, methods of cuttings and tangents. Solving ordinary differential and partial differential equations by various numerical methods. Practical teaching Any subject of the theoretical part of the course will be followed by solving of the selected problems. |
