Course Objectives:
Getting to know the working environment and underground pressure, theoretical and practical training in the field of underground buildings stability and safety.
Learning Outcomes:
With the acquired knowledge, students are qualified to classify the work environment, determine the underground pressure, and make the right choice of the support in order to secure the underground premises.
Content:

Theory teaching
Introductory lecture, Working environment, Underground pressure, Horizontal and incline underground facilities, Wooden support, Steel support, Concrete support, Hanging support, Measurement methods, Shaft support, Types of shaft support, Support of underground premises under special conditions.

Practical teaching
Introductory exercises, Theoretical basics of support, Working environment, Underground pressure, Load on the corridor of the hallway, Hallway support Wooden support, Steel support, Concrete support of horizontal rooms, Hanging support, Shaft support, Support of underground premises under special conditions.
