 Theory teaching1. Ethics of scientific research. Scientists’ integrity; 2. Importance of scientific research. Acquiring knowledge in science; 3. Introduction to scientific method. General and universal scientific methods; 4. Identification of scientific research problems. Development of research plan; 5. Searching through literature sources. Online databases; 6. Review and evaluation of scientific data and research trends; 7. Statistical methods in scientific research; 8. Mathematical models of occurrences, processes and systems; 9. Issues of scientific research in mining engineering; 10. Dissemination of tasks - seminal paper - writing of a scientific paper; 11. The concept of scientific work; 13. Research hypotheses. Selection of Methodology; 14. Technical processing of scientific paper; 15. Referencing. Copyright issues.
