Course Objectives: The objective of the course is to introduce students to advanced principles and methods of slope stability analysis and slope design, as well as open-pit slope remediation and reconstruction. |

Learning Outcomes: The course will provide students to understand the problems of interaction between the rock and soil masive and the surface exploitation process, and to determine the basic rock and soil properties as the basis for the open-pit slope design and their remediation and reconstruction. |
