Course Objectives: Student acquires skills in collecting of palaeontological material in instructive localities. |
Learning Outcomes: Skills in collecting and preserving of fossil material for further laboratory and statistical analyses. |
Content:
Theory teaching Students receive theoretical knowledge about planning, as well as the actual performance of fieldwork. Practical teaching A tour of instructive sites accompanied by a professor. Practical training of students in work on the site. Crossing of the field, observation and recording of observations. Development of a local stratigraphic column, for the narrower field of research. Collection of palaeontological data, palaeofauna, palaeoflora etc. Preservation of fossil material in field. |
