Course Objectives: Introduction to different tectonic styles and their structural contents. |
Learning Outcomes: Acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge about the connection of global tectonic elements and local tectonic systems and application in various geological explorations. |
Content:
Theory teaching Introduction, the geological structure of oceanic spaces, the structure of orogenic belts, the structure of continental platforms, the structure of continental peripherals. Correlation of modern tectonic ambient and their fossil equivalents. Indicative and practical problems, independent seminar work on selected topics, consultations and discussion on possibilities of correlation of modern and fossil tectonic systems. |
