Course Objectives: Getting acquainted with modern methods used in mineralogy for mineral identification. |

Learning Outcomes: Acquiring knowledge and skills in order to make an adequate choice of methods in solving concrete tasks. Students are trained for independent work, preparation and identification of minerals using different state-of-art methods. |

Conduct of the Course: Teaching is interactive. On representative samples, students work independently, they record, graphically display, critically comment. On the basis of the obtained results they write seminar work, publicly present and defend it. |
