Geology (II semester -PhD) |
Name of subject: Fields in Applied Geophysics 1 |
Instructors:
Prof. Ivana Vasiljević, Prof. Vesna Cvetkov, Dr Snežana Ignjatović, Prof. Dragana Đurić |
Status: Optional |
ECTS: 10 |
Prerequisites: none |
Course Objectives: The objective of the course is to qualify students for the selection of appropriate geophysical methods, analysis of possible solutions, development of the new methods or modification of existent methods and their application for solving problems in applied geophysics. |
Learning Outcomes: Learning outcomes include acquiring the practical and theoretical knowledge necessary for the application of the adequate geophysical methods for solving problems in applied geophysics. |
Content:
Theory teaching Selection and specificity of geophysical methods application in different areas (geological research, mineral and hydrocarbon deposits, archaeology, hydrogeology, civil engineering, ecology, global research). Correlation of the geophysical data measured on the different levels (satellite measurements, aero measurements, ground measurements, marine and ice measurements, underground and underwater measurements). Leveling of geophysical and geodetical data. Connection and correlation of the geophysical data with the other research data. Practical teaching Study research is an independent student’s research on the assigned topic. |
Suggested Reading List:
