Theory teaching
Definition of urban places.Types of cities. Geology of urban terrain. The basic components of urban planing. Consideration: Geotechnical investigations for urban planing; Deep excavations for foundation of structures in the city and interaction with objects nearby; Measure of protection from negative effects of underground water; Construction of structures on unstable terrain, terrain with floods and on/in extreme high slope; Surface and subsurface structures; Geotechnical aspects of building in the old parts of the city or reconstruction of old parts of the cities; Geotechnical aspects of development and building in the new parts of the city; Municipal solid waste in cities; Objects for sport and recreations; Seismic microreonization of the cities; Supplying cities with water and building materials; Urban soil in areas of influence of surface (open pit mine) and subsurface (underground mine) mineral exploitations; Urban soil in areas with intensive industrial development; Cities on the shores; Cities in the hilly areas; Urban soil in seismic active areas; Urban terrain in Neogene basein; Geological and geotechnical aspects of sustainable development of the cities; Measure of environment’s protection in the urban areas.
