Course Objectives: The objective of the course is to educate students about the fundamental principles of gravimetry, from the field measurements to the compilation and basic interpretation of gravity maps, as well as how to apply gravimetry for solving practical problems in different types of geological investigations. |

Learning Outcomes: Learning outcomes include acquiring the knowledge and proficiency necessary for working with the gravimetric equipment, field measurements, data processing, work with the gravity databases and basic interpretation of gravity maps. |

Conduct of the Course: Computer presentations are used during the lectures and exercises. Presentations are available to students in order to make the learning process easier. Exercises are practical and they are following the content of lectures in order to enable a better understanding of the subject. The knowledge is also acquired through the seminar paper. |
