Content:
Theory teaching Scalar field. Directional derivative. Gradient. Nabla, Laplace-operator. Vector field. Divergence. Rotor. Classification of vector fields. Potential. Integral theories. Generalized coordinates. Gradient, divergence and rotor in generalized coordinates. Power series solution of differential equations. Orthogonal functions. Function series. Special functions. Completeness of orthogonal functions. Periodic functions. Fundamental theorem of Fourier order convergence. Fourier series of even and odd functions. Fourier sine and cosine series. Function approximation by trigonometric polynomial. Partial differential equations. Second-order linear partial differential equations. Classification. Reduction to canonical form. Fourier decomposition method. Practical teaching Calculation assignments. |
