Study program:
Hidrogeology (VI semester -BsC) |
Name of subject: Tapping of Groundwater Sources |
Instructors:
Prof. Dušan Polomčić, Prof. Dragoljub Bajić |
Status: Compulsory |
ECTS: 5 |
Prerequisites: - |
Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to meet with the elements and parameters of sources, phases and optimization of research related to groundwater sources, types and hydraulics of tapping objects, management and planning within the sources, methods of calculation for the verification of groundwater reserves at sources for different purposes. |
Learning Outcomes: Training students for the selection and design of the tapping objects, groundwater monitoring and planning activities at the sources. |
Content:
Theory teaching Elements, parameters and classification of groundwater sources. Application of hydrodynamic analysis in research for sources. Stages and optimization of research related to sources. Source location selection criteria. Types, characteristics and hydraulics of intake objects. Following the technogenic processes of the source. Monitoring work and information-management system of sources. Management and planning within the source. Guidelines for the certification of groundwater reserves at sources. Specificity of sources in different hydrogeological environments. Sources for different types of groundwater. Practical teaching Exercises are followed by lectures. Practical tasks are performed that enable continuous monitoring of teaching units. It is planned to create homwork tasks. |
