Study program: Geology (II semester -PhD) Hidrogeology (II semester -PhD) |
||||||||||||
Name of subject: Microtectonics
Instructors: Dr Uroš Stojadinović |
||||||||||||
Status: Optional | ||||||||||||
ECTS: 10 | ||||||||||||
Prerequisites: Structural geology
Course Objectives: The course is aimed to explain main concepts of petrology, structural geology, and geochronology in order to determine tectonic histories of regions based on investigations of various parameters (pressure, temperature, temporal relations and deformations). |
||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes: After finishing this course students will be able to: identify different phases of deformations and their temporal relations, estimate p-T conditions of various deformations, determine kinematics of deformations based on structural parameters, interpret the results of microtectonic studies in broader tectonic context. |
