Course Objectives: Acquisition of basic knowledge about the history and the geodynamics of the Earth, which are necessary for mastering the material from other professional courses. |
Learning Outcomes: Adopting professional terminology and theoretical foundations necessary for understanding professional subjects. |
Content:
Theory teaching The genesis of the Earth, internal structure of the earth; introduction to tectonics; types of deformation; tectonic plates; magmatism; seismism; metamorphism; Earth’s evolution through geological time; the basis of the geotectonic structure of Serbia; geological graphics; exodynamic processes, basic concepts, agents and types of processes; eluvial, eolian, fluvial, karst, marine and glacial processes, groundwater. Practical teaching Development of materials processed in lectures using different models and educational video material; work with geological compass; orientation of geological structures; Independently solve simplified geological problems and construction of simple geological profiles. |
