Prof. Predrag Lazić |
Status: Optional |
ECTS: 6 |
Prerequisites: - |
Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to introduce students to the auxiliary machines and devices that are used in various processes of mineral processing. Students will be introduced to basic operation principles and construction of machines. Also, students will be familiar with selection method and calculation of these devices. |
Learning Outcomes: Inclusion in mining industry, scientific research or continuation of studies. |
Content:
Theory teaching Studying basic characteristic and working principles of auxiliary machinery and equipment in mineral processing. These are primarily feeders, pumps, pulp dividers, samplers, reagents feeders and devices for automatic regulation and control of the raw mineral processing. Students will be introduced to technological requirements for automatization of the raw mineral processing. Practical teaching Experimental laboratory exercises follow all auxiliary machines and devices. These devices are: feeders, pumps, pulverizers, samplers, reagents feeders as well as machines for automatic process control and regulation. |
