Course Objectives: Getting acquainted with theoretical and practical training with the methods of underground construction in special conditions, such as a large flow of water, raising zones, decoupled material, and more. By completing this course, students are trained to independently perform tasks that are set in front of them. |
Learning Outcomes: With the acquired knowledge, students are qualified to classify the working environment, design, define the technology of underground construction in special or extreme mining and geological conditions. and the manner of their insurance in terms of choise of adequat support system. |
Content:
Theory teaching Introductory lecture, General concepts, Working environment, Classifications, Methods of underground construction in particularly difficult conditions, Methods of improving working envionment. Practical teaching Physical and technological properties of the working environment. Classification of rock mass from the point of view of underground premises, Special methods for small shafts construction, Construction of shafts with pre-injection, Pre-freezing shaft construction, Shaft drilling under special conditions, Exercises at school mine. |
