Study program:
Petroleum Engineering (X semester -MsC) |
Name of subject: Selected Topics in the Production and Transportation of Oil and Gas |
Instructors:
Prof. Dušan Danilović |
Status: Compulsory |
ECTS: 6 |
Prerequisites: Basic academic studies completed. |
Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to expand the acquired knowledge from mechanical methods of exploitation and transportation of oil and gas. Particular attention has been directed to the system of analyzing and optimizing the process of operation of the mentioned mechanical methods, which is of particular importance in terms of economy of operation and energy efficiency. Students will be introduced to the method of decline analysis and the possibilities of its application. It will also get acquainted with all the details of designing a system for the transport of paraffin oil, including the determination of flow limiting conditions. |
Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students are fully trained for: independent design and optimization of mechanical methods for the production of oil and gas; analysis of the work of the well with the application of the decline analysis and design of the system for the transport of paraffin oil. |
Content:
