Study program:
Economic Geology (VIII semester -MsC)
Name of subject: Deposits of Non-metallic Mineral Deposits
Instructors:
Prof. Vladimir Simić
Status: Compulsory
ECTS: 5
Prerequisites: -
Course Objectives:
Acquiring knowledge about geochemical characteristics, areas of application, geological and economic characteristics of deposits of non-metallic mineral raw materials with emphasis on the conditions of their origin, as well as on the characteristics of the most important deposits of non-metallic mineral raw materials in the world and in Serbia.
Learning Outcomes:
Acquired knowledge of the geological and genetic characteristics of deposits of non-metallic mineral raw materials. The basis for the study of deposit prospecting, exploration and geological and economic evaluation of deposits of non-metallic mineral raw materials has been created. Training of candidates for using all available data on non-metallic mineral raw materials of Serbia.
