Course Objectives:
Adoption and knowledge of different methods and ways paleogeographic reconstruction tertiary formations in Serbia. |
Learning Outcomes:
Introduction to the lithological-paleontological genetic characteristics of different categories of tertiary deposits in Serbia and possibilities of their paleogeographic reconstruction. |
Content:
Theory teaching
Distribution and types of tertiary sediments in Serbia. Facial analysis Tertiary stratigraphic members in Serbia. The influence of different physical-geographical conditions of the diversity of tertiary tvorevna in Serbia. Paleogeographic reconstruction of basins in Serbia (Pannonian and Dacian). Paleogeographic reconstruction of lake formations on the territory of Serbia. Paleogeographic reconstruction and evolution of the Pannonian Basin during the Neogene. Paleogeographic reconstruction of the Dacian Basin and evolution during the Neogene. The correlation of paleogeographic units from surrounding areas. Practical teaching
Paleogeographic analysis of some of the selected areas by applying various methods. |
