Course Objectives:
Training students for independent scientific and research work on the application of flotation concentration.
Learning Outcomes:
PhD students will master the methods of analyzing and solving problems in the field of flotation concentration. These tests will be based on fundamental studies on pure minerals as well as applied research on ores.
Content:

Theory teaching
Theoretical principles of flotation concentration will be studied within this course. Flotation pulp stages, Mineralization of air bubbles, Flotation foam. , Probability of collisions and adherence of minerals to the bubble. Flotation kinetics, adsorption kinetics, kinetics of mineral grain adherence with air bubbles, levitation kinetics. Flotation reagents, action mechanisms of flotation reagents, new flotation reagents. Testing the flotability of minerals (contact angle, flotation in Halimond tube)

Practical teaching
Appropriate experimental and scientific research work related to the topic of doctoral studies.
