Course Objectives:
Course aims is the acquisition of professional competencies in specific areas of the design and drilling of deep oil and gas wells, and also competence in higher vocational education.
Learning Outcomes:
After completing the course, students should know the structure of the process of planning and drilling wells. On the basis of the given well data they can make a design of borehole construction, drilling tools, casing, type and hydraulic of drilling fluid.
Content:

Theory teaching
Optimization of technical and technological elements of designing and drilling of oil and gas wells, such as: depth of casing,, well construction, the drilling parameters and the selection of the type of the drilling rig.

Practical teaching
Calculation: the depth of intermediate casing, the type of the casing string, casing cementing, well control equipment, drilling tools, drilling parameters.
